Overview
Weply is a mobile-first social marketplace aimed at creating a community of sports enthusiasts who are willing to buy/sell second-hand sports gear and meet up to engage in sports activities together. Weply is currently participating in the Google for Startup Advisory Program.
Challenge
Globally, around two billion tons of waste are generated annually, including challenging-to-recycle disused sports equipment. Weply was born from this need, introducing a circular economy solution to extend the lifespan of sports gear, capitalizing on the growing interest in second-hand that has surged across all sectors in recent years.
Role
As Co-Founder and Lead Product Designer at Weply, I direct and I collaboratively execute all product design-related activities, with a focus on UX Design and Generative User Research.
